Thank you for choosing Trugift ("we," "our," or "us"). We want to ensure your gifting experience is seamless, transparent, and delightful. Below is our detailed policy regarding shipping timelines, our unique multi-vendor delivery logic, and criteria for returns or refunds.

By placing an order on our Platform (https://trugift-storefront.vercel.app), you agree to the terms outlined below.

I. SHIPPING & DELIVERY POLICY

1. The "One Cart, Split-Order" Shipping Logic

Trugift features an advanced multi-vendor marketplace structure. If you curate a single gift box featuring treasures from different independent artisans, your items may be packaged, dispatched, and shipped in distinct stages or separate parcels. *You will receive individual tracking updates for each participating artisan segment of your order.*

  • Shipping or handling charges, if applicable, will be clearly consolidated and calculated at checkout before payment.

2. Processing and Production Timelines

  • Standard Curated Items: Orders for non-customized products are typically processed and handed over to our domestic logistics partners within 1 to 3 business days.
  • Personalized & Bespoke Items: Items requiring custom engraving, custom text, or handwritten letters require extra artisan care. Please allow an additional 2 to 5 business days for custom production before dispatch.

3. Domestic Shipping & Estimated Delivery Time

We partner with leading high-speed domestic logistics services (e.g., Delhivery, Blue Dart) to deliver across India.

  • Metro Cities: 2 to 5 business days post-dispatch.
  • Rest of India: 5 to 7 business days post-dispatch.

Please note: While we strive for fast and prompt delivery, delivery dates are estimates provided by carrier networks. Trugift is not liable for structural transit delays caused by severe weather conditions, festival backlogs, or incorrect delivery address provisions.

4. Shipping to Gift Recipients

When arranging a direct delivery to a gift recipient, please double-check their complete address and phone number. Our carrier partners require a valid contact number to coordinate a drop-off or gate entry.

II. RETURNS, REFUNDS, AND CANCELLATIONS

1. Personalized and Custom-Curated Items

Due to the highly bespoke, tailored nature of our handcrafted luxury collections, custom-engraved items, and handwritten notes, all personalized orders are strictly non-returnable, non-exchangeable, and non-refundable. Once production begins on a custom specification, the order cannot be altered or reversed.

2. Standard (Non-Personalized) Items

For standard, non-customized merchandise, we accept return requests within 5 days of delivery strictly under the following conditions:

  • The product must be completely unused, unwashed, and in the exact condition it was received.
  • It must be kept in its original packaging along with all accompanying tags, labels, protection inserts, and certificates.

3. Damaged, Defective, or Wrong Items Received

We enforce a rigorous quality seal and hand-verify vendor goods. However, if a curated hamper or item inside arrives broken, physically damaged, or structurally incorrect:

  • You must notify us within 48 hours of delivery.
  • Send an email to admin@thetrugift.com with your Order ID, a brief description of the issue, and clear unboxing photographs or video proof highlighting the damage.
  • Once verified, we will arrange a reverse pickup at no cost to you and immediately dispatch a brand-new replacement or process a full refund.

4. Order Cancellations

  • Standard Orders: You can request an order cancellation within 2 hours of placing it, provided it has not been packed or handed over to our shipping carriers.
  • Custom Orders: Custom or personalized orders cannot be canceled once the artisan has commenced the engraving or curation process.

5. Refund Processing Timeline

Once a return package is safely received back at our hub and passes a quality control verification check, your refund will be authorized.

  • Refunds are credited back to the original payment method (Credit/Debit Card, Net Banking, or UPI).
  • It generally takes 5 to 7 business days for the amount to reflect in your financial statement, depending on your banking institution's cycles.
